Working from Monforte

Rizoma is a shared workspace at Avenida de Galicia 52, in the center of Monforte de Lemos. Here is what working here looks like.

Who works here

The regulars have very different jobs. One works for a travel company. One writes software for banks. Others manage projects, answer support for a software company or organize cultural programs.

What you get

A desk, 600 Mbps fiber, coffee and tea. There is a separate office for calls and video calls, height-adjustable desks, an external monitor, lockers and a break area. There is quiet when you need it, and people around when you don’t.

What it costs

Rizoma works collectively. You contribute €10 a day or €50 a month, depending on how often you come. That covers upkeep and running costs, and anything left over goes into improving the space. How to spend it, we decide together.

The first day is free.

After work

Some Thursdays from 18:30 to 20:30, Linguas Tecidas meets here to practice English, Galician, Spanish and other languages. On Mondays at 19:00 there is meditation with Senda Silvestre. Anyone who works here can propose a talk, a workshop or an afterwork.

Parking

Rúa Malloadas usually has spaces, and the Escolapios car park is a few minutes’ walk away.

Try a day

Write to ola@rizoma.gal a day or two before you come, so we can have a desk ready. Visits and questions are Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 13:00. Members can use the space all day.
